Product Description

Galfer's Solid-Mount Rear Wave rotors provide all the advantages of the front rotors when coupled with the floating rear calipers found on most motorcycles. Combining the best materials and manufacturing process, these rotors will handle everything you throw at them. Patented inner and outer Wave design minimizes heat transfer, equalizes dissipation and evens out pad wear. These rotors were invented by Galfer in the early 90's to solve the problem of water and mud on brake rotor surfaces of trial competition motorcycles. As the design was developed an added benefit was discovered: the brake system was running cooler. The combination of the new design with the premium materials that had already been developed for the round rotors resulted in the new generation of brake rotor technology. These rotors are made of Galfer's unique high carbon 420 SS/8 composite and are laser cut and not stamped like most other rotors. Double disc ensures parallel grinding to assure perfect parallel flatness. The rotors are heat-treated to each specific application to assure warp resistance. The designs are CAD-CAM and tested with a stress analysis program, as well as dyno/real life tested prior to being offered on the market. KBA and TUV approved. Galfer Wave rotors are protected under US PTO# 6, 386, 340 and US Trademark# 76, 517, 881.

AEM 22-501R Red Short Ram Intake System Review

I bought this intake for my 2001 Honda Civic EX because the K&N version rubbed against the hood. After working with both brands intakes for my car I feel i got a good read on both items. K&N's fit snug and seated perfectly but the top of the intake was too high thus rubbing on the underside of my hood. I sent that back and bought this one. The finish color is awesome and looks great. Everything fit ok but it wasn't as clean a fit as the K&N. Everything ran perfect once installed though. It's a great looking intake and performs well. Just know that it doesn't fit as spot on as others.

I bought the luggage rack and back rest -- labeled Kawasaki OEM. It took over 5 hours to install! I had to ream out the holes in the support posts to make it fit together. It dry fit off the bike fine, but once I tried to put it together on the bike, it took a lot of metal working to make everything fit together. It looks good now, but for something that consists of three major parts and hardware, be aware that you might need to plan on a difficult install.
