The spacer and the cable mounting brackets fit perfectly on my 7.5 Gas F-250 4x4 Truck. Two hours of my labor to install and thoroughly clean the throttle body and intake manifold. Results??? PRICELESS! I mean it really!

The gain in fuel mileage was small, only .6 miles to the gallon. The gains in drive-ability and low RPM torque and smoothness to get a trailer rolling from a stop HUGE!

It also ended the transmission hunting when pulling a grade. By that I mean the very hard on the drive train, shifting out of overdrive accelerating back up to speed shifting back into overdrive only to stall and drop out of overdrive thirty seconds later. This is why most vehicles have a switch to turn the Overdrive off when your towing.

I knew instantly that the spacer was doing what it claimed when the engine started and idle speed improved by 300 rpm and was smooth not lumpy and uneven as big engines tend to be. I can cross the pasture at 6-8 miles an hour and never touch the accelerator. I can cruise a flat gravel road at ten miles an hour and never touch the pedal.

When I pulled the first grade with it and held overdrive a 1/3 of mile past where the truck used to downshift. When it did downshift I still had speed and the truck downshifted for a � mile near the top of the grade the truck up shifted back into overdrive and stayed there on next smaller grade it never downshifted even while pulling a 5,100 pound trailer while running on cruise control.

With my dual tank truck I normally run the first tank dry then switch. I am normally alerted to getting low on fuel by sputtering and a back fire as the fuel pressure drops and the injectors can't atomize gasoline properly.

I didn't know what mileage I was getting on the first trip with the spacer installed so didn't know exactly when I would run out of fuel. I was quite shocked when all of sudden it got quiet and the warning lights came on in the dash. My mind raced to what had failed in the engine when I realized I had run completely out of fuel with out the usual warning sputtering.
