This classic subwoofer packs a power punch. The Hifonics ZRX12D4 Zeus 12-Inch round subwoofer includes an anti resonant ABS magnet cap to protect the motor structure along with mesh windows for better heat dissipation. The ZRX12D4 is equipped with a multi-layer voice coil for durability and high power handling. It also features a Nomex spider and woven tinsel leads for increased control and reliability. The push and insert style terminals allow for easy parallel wiring to a 1 Ohm load on a pair of subwoofers with dual 4 Ohm voice coils. Finally, the dual blue bands around the dust cap and cone provide a cool cosmetic affect as the subwoofer is in motion. DVC 4 Ohm, 1000 watts maxx, 500 watts RMS.

It will definately get loud with the right amount of power. I have it matched up with a Hifonics Hfi1000.1d 1000 Watt RMS running at 2 ohms in a ported box and it is more than loud enough in my 2005 nissan altima. It would probably hit the really low notes a little better in a medium sized sealed box however. Easy hookup and the spring clips are nice, DVC gives you a bit of flexibility in installation. This is a great way to get some serious boom without breaking the bank. No problems with it so far. I have had it for about a month so far.
