i used Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 P3SD212 Shallow 12-Inch subwoofer for this box work perfect.

you have to remove all plastic storage behind rear seat also rear seat plastic cover has to go too.

This thing was easy to install on my 2006 ford explorer. I just took out the center console then took off the radio bezel. Then a couple of screws for the radio and just plugged it in. I had to adjust some of the switches on the Pac to allow ipod and 3.5mm, but other than that the thing works great. My wife loves it because she can control her iphone which is much easier than using the radio to control the iphone. Overall it is a great product.
