Been living with a slowly degrading points ignition for a couple years until the spring on the points finally broke, of course quite a ways from the dock... So I decided it was time to do the electronic ignition upgrade.

One word - Wow.

Boat is running like new, acceleration is dramatic, top end has returned, boat is once again very impressive.

The Mallory kit is quite simple, we had it installed in about 15 minutes, total. Really. Anyone can do the upgrade.
