Nissan 89-94 240SX NRG Short Hub Racing Steering Wheel Adapter (SRK-140H) Review

I purchased this for my 1978 Datsun 280Z. The list advised it would fit my car. I had already purchased the NRG quick release 2.0 and my custom MOMO steering wheel. I was all excited to install, but to my surprise, the hub does not fit. I called NRG to ask about the hub. The agent advised that the hub does not fit the 260-280z. I told him that it was on the list that it would fit. The agent advised they do not make any hubs adaptors for my car. He said to purchase the MOMO hub adapter and to add the quick release. I told him that the steering wheel would be too close to the steering. He said they had sent out a communication to all the stores that sell their products that it would not fit the 260-280z. I was really frustrated since nothing was really going to fit my car. So i took my hub to a local machine shop and had the part customized. I managed to install and all is ok now. As far as the product goes, it is really good quality and good finish. The only thing is the little misinformation found even on the NRG product line of what the hub fits. DOES NOT FIT EARLY DATSUN VEHICLES!!
