The Amazon "does this fit your car" software selected this in error for use on my 1996 Mazda Miata. Actually this part ONLY applies to the 1.6 l cars: 1990 through 1993. You need Bosal part 099-260 for the 1.8 l cars 1994 through 1997. I had to ship this back. This probably is an OK cat con since Mazda dealers sold it for the 1990-1993 cars as a "dealer part" for several years.
