Installation was easy. Snap ring pliers and replacement snap rings were needed for my install. I would have given 5 stars for good quality and I'm pleased with the look on my Sportster 48, however there is zero clearance when these are opened to the riding position (straight out). I actually had to stand on them to get them to open. Now closing them is very difficult and I'm certain this damaged the item where the aluminum footpeg meets the steel mount.
