I usually don't wear motorcycle boots, but I decided to get a pair of these and was pleasantly surprised.

They seem to keep my feet a lot cooler than just Reeboks, etc. They are sized a little on the small size, I wear an 11; but bought 12's and they fit perfectly (my feet are kind of flat).

As far as a fashion statement, well, they're ok, but that's not why I bought them. With the toe and ankle protection, they might protect your feet in a spill. The soles are flat, have some texturing, and the thickness of the toe section makes you learn how to shift differently.

I primarily bought these to keep my feet cool in the desert, and I think that they'll do the job.

Order one size larger than what you normally wear, and you should be OK.
