Kuryakyn 5228 Large Sheepskin Royal Riding Seat Pad Review

I have had this cushion for about a week. The jury is still out on how I like it. It feels squishy to me but I guess gel should. It raises me up about an inch which I like as I have a little better view over my windshield. As far as comfort goes, I am not sure it will be that much better than just the seat. I haven't taken a long ride with it yet but my butt still gets sore. I have a tender tailbone so I was hoping this would help. That is the only reason for 4 stars. Quality is a 5.

Quality is very good. The bottom of it has a grip material that holds in place very well. It also has a strap to secure it to the seat. I live in Florida. It is very hot right now. The seat does seem to keep my butt cooler and dryer. After a longer trip I will know better if it will do what I was hoping. I might have to update this review at that time. Overall I think it is a good value if you are looking for one of these pads.

I have ridden enough on this pad now to make a review of its effectiveness in relieving pain to my tailbone. I can ride for miles now without my butt getting sore. I have found it to be very comfortable and effective. I love this thing and I a very happy with it. It has become a permanent fixture on my bike. I have changed my rating to 5 stars.
