I bought this to put on my 2007 Tacoma Dbl Cab Short Bed 4x4 TRD Off Road for a simple small rear lift. I will say the materials that comprise the kit and very good.

My only issue with the kit is the seller, Rugged Lift, says it will fit a 1995-2012 Tacoma. I found that it will not fit a 2nd gen Tacoma (2005-2011) properly. The blocks fit just fine but the U bolts are way to long and the threads aren't long enough. Sure I could just cut off the excess, I don't have a problem with that, but I would have needed to put 1" to 1.5" of washers on each of the bolt ends in order to screw the nuts on. Luckily you can get U bolts just about anywhere for pretty cheap and I got them the right length. I would think that this kit would fit a Tacoma with the TSB 4th leaf pack and it wouldn't surprise me if it fit the Tundra just fine, but you will need 4 new U bolts if you own a 2nd gen (2005-2011) Tacoma with the standard 3 leaf pack.

It is a little expensive. You are paying mostly for the 2 blocks which are both a solid chunk of aluminum. I don't know the price of aluminum but it did seem a little expensive considering I got 4 new U bolts of higher quality for 15 bucks, which means the Aluminum is approximately $75.

All in all I am very happy with the Aluminum blocks. Other places I had looked at just have a block with a bunch of holes punched in it. I wouldn't trust those with the weight of a vehicle resting on it, especially because I'm always Off Roading and wreaking having on my suspension.
