I work in the auto industry and I get to see many new cars with the latest gadgets. The rear view mirror monitors that are equipped from the factory are very clean looking.With most factory mirrors, the screen is not visible until it turns on. In most cases you don't even know there is a screen until it lights up.
On this Boyo mirror, the screen is very visible even when off. When I took it out if the box, I decided right then and there, that this is not what I had in mind.
I can't comment on the operation at all because I never powered it up.
I ended up finding a generic no-name model on eBay from a seller called drive-aide that fits my needs and looks completely factory.
I gave in this mirror 3 stars because it is a mirror and it showed up. Also because Amazon's return process was very easy.
