Actually this is a very strong jack.
And it collapses nicely below my Sportster.
I gave a 3 not because of the quality of the unit but because its doesn't work well on its own for my bike.
For one thing, the attachments with the rubber cradles are useless unless you have a bike that sits 8 inches above the ground.
With them attached, they are way above the bottom rails of my bike.
No way I can use them.
I'm planning on drilling 2 holes in the top of the jack plate and fabricating notched wooden rails that will fit the bike frame towards the rear wheel.
And another wooden rail with notches that will fit the front of the bike under frame.
Otherwise there is only one place where I can locate the large 5" plate of this jack under a sportster.
