2002 - 2008 Nissan Murano Cross Bars Review

The cross bars fit my 2006 Nissan Murano perfectly and look like they came with the vehicle. My SUV is pearl white, and you can hardly see the cross bars unless you are looking for them. I also have a moon roof, and the bars do not interfere with it.

The black side rails were on the Murano when I bought it, and I always wanted the cross bars so we could haul a kayak or a canoe on top, and now we can. The only complaint was from my husband. The cross bars say they will support 100 pounds, but he had hoped it would support more. I wouldn't want to push the weight capacity too much since the actual ends that attach to the side rails are plastic, even though the middle is metal. I'm not sure why Nissan didn't make the entire cross bar from metal.

$99 was a good price compared to my local dealership, and the package arrived at my house quickly - in about 5 days. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
