Installed this in our boat while we were in between amps (the first one blew, and the next one was backordered). So we were used to something very nice, which this is not. It's average. If you are coming from no stereo, or one simply driving the speakers from the head unit, then this will be fine. Otherwise, you're likely to be disappointed. Specific issues: No internal ground interference mgmt (you hear the engine RPM without external filters), pigtail wiring for speakers as opposed to block connectors, stated watts feels like a gross overstatement.

On balance and for the price, it's a good value. You must know the kind of buyer that you are: High end expecting great sound, or middle of the road and this will be good enough.
